The first words from the wonderful staff member here were,"Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions..." Wow. I knew from that point on we were well taken care of. There were some great options for me on Whole30. Fruit & eggs. They were delicious. I was SUPER impressed with this place and I highly recommend you check it out for breakfast + coffee sometime soon. Great for kids to play too with a special play area for them.

Great Baristas, Vibes, Coffee, & snacks. This is my favorite Hopscotch location (I don't think I did go to the others). Has parking, has outdoor and indoor seating, the outdoors is a bit quiet --- so options!

The best coffeeshop in town. Great drinks, great breakfast—get the veggie breakfast sandwich even if you’re not a vegetarian, and thank me later. And the pluses don’t stop there: great seating options (indoor and outdoor), loads of outlets, good music, and cute merch. Why would you go anywhere else!?

Coffee Shop No. 421 Hopscotch Coffee & Kitchen Bloomington, ID September 26, 2024 The beauty of a cortado is it can be enjoyed quietly on your own or with good friends. On this particular outing a friend was eager to take my husband and I to his favorite coffee shop in his hometown of Bloomington, ID. Hopscotch Coffee & Kitchen sits right in along the Bloomington Rail Trail. The setting of the cafe is calm, inviting, and simple. A large porch welcomes you to the shop; it’s obviously a local favorite. When you enter the shop the coffee bar is to the right, comfortable couch seating along with work tables and cafe tables are to the left. If you want something more than a coffee and a treat there is a restaurant towards the back on your left. The cortado was delicious and the company was priceless. I hope you’re able to share a cortado with someone soon. It’s a good way to turn something ordinary into something special. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

Hopscotch is a Bton staple! Definitely the most reliable breakfast in town, with great seasonal drinks and solid, fresh coffee standards. It’s a great spot to work from but also maintains its atmosphere as a nice spot to relax and chat. Friendly, talented, and accommodating staff; lovely regulars who keep the vibes solid; great food and small but nice beer list if you’re feeling cheeky. Not the spot to go if you want homophobic swill, but there’s plenty of puddles on the b-line* you can drink from if that’s your jam :) (*which you can see from Hop’s lovely and gracious patio)

This place is always such a delight. The coffee is delicious, and they often get pretty creative with their seasonal menus. Perfect place to get breakfast with an egg allergy. The tofu scramble is delicious! Great patio, dog friendly too! We love Hopscotch!

Hopscotch is a great place to be and an important part of the community in Bloomington! They have a delicious cafe drink for everyone, whether you like coffee, tea, or something else altogether. If you need a bite to eat they'll take care of you with a snack on the cafe side or delicious meals on the restaurant side. The merch is ever changing, fun, and artistic. With a wide variety of seating options and a plethora of outlets (both indoors and out!) there's space for everyone. Plus they have a small play zone inside with some good toys for kids, and a huge and comfort pet friendly porch for nicer weather!

hopscotch is an absolute phenom of a cafe. one side has excellent, well made coffee. the other side has fantastic food for a price that makes you say “wow that’s cheaper than i expected!” i have never had a bad interaction with staff; they serve you with a smile that always feels genuine. i come here all the time—sometimes to get some work done, sometimes for a quick coffee, sometimes for professional meetings. it has a convenient location on the b-line, so i highly recommend grabbing a drink and taking a little walk if you’ve got the time. so entrenched in the local community, hopscotch is, in my mind, the premier cafe experience in bloomington and is not to be missed.

Hopscotch Coffee is a lovely, welcoming spot. We ordered matcha and peppermint drinks with brownies, and everything tasted fresh and well made. The staff were genuinely cool and friendly, the space was clean and comfortable, and it felt easy to make good connections and enjoy the atmosphere. On the positive side, the drinks are thoughtfully prepared, the brownies pair nicely with coffee, and the overall vibe is warm and social. On the downside, it can get a bit busy during peak hours, so finding a quiet seat may take a moment.
